Reclamation is something we pride ourselves on at BMC. Our goal is to look like we’ve never been there. Reclamation ensures BMC’s mine sites are restored to a beneficial land use once mining is completed. Typical BMC post-mining land uses are, but not limited to:

Recreation: biking, boating, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, and skiing.
Wildlife habitat: forests, lakes, meadows, ponds, and prairies.
Agricultural: pastures, row crops, forestry.
