Badger updates sales territories with focus on the northeast and commitment to technical support

webmaster · February 15, 2016 ·

Badger Mining Corporation is pleased to announce that an important step in developing its team for the long-term began January 13, 2016 when Leo Tsuber returned to the Colorado School of Mines to begin pursuit of the degree of Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering. Leo will continue working at Badger while completing his degree, albeit on a scaled back level and with a much more technical focus. Over time, he will assume the title of Technical Manager.

Joe Cessar, who has significant prior experience in Canada, will see his role expand to include responsibility over the WCSB with ongoing support from our Inside Sales Team and the rest of the Business Development Team.

In addition, Chad Blancett will assume responsibility for our Northeast Region. We are very excited to have recently opened two sites in the Northeast through our partnership with Wildcat Minerals and look to expand on that footprint in CY2016. Chad will play an instrumental role in raising our profile throughout the Utica and Marcellus and is looking forward to the challenge.

Sales Restructuring and Updated Workflow

As a reminder, our restructuring is complete and the result is the formation of two distinct, though collaborative, teams to better serve your immediate and long-term needs.

Effective immediately, we are asking that ALL purchase orders and product availability inquiries, for both Badger®Frac and Badger®Coated, be made with the BMC Inside Sales Team at:

E-mail: BMCInsideSalesTeam@badgerminingcorp.com

Phone: (715) 664-2400

The BMC Business Development Team is in-basin and your source for longer-term opportunities, and to work collaboratively with you to identify new solutions to the challenges you face week in and week out. Below is the contact information for these team members:

BMC ships out first unit train from Taylor, WI

webmaster · November 3, 2015 ·

Taylor, Wisconsin – On Wednesday, October 28, Badger Mining Corporation shipped out its first unit train from its facility near Taylor, Wisconsin. A unit train is an entire train that only carries one commodity, in BMC’s case – sand, from origin to final destination. “Our Taylor Plant, with Badger®Sand and Badger®Coated capabilities, has the size, scope and experience to be the most flexible plant in our industry today,” states Adam Katz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We are very excited to offer unit train service from our flagship operation and know that the efficiencies gained will help our customers succeed in today’s uniquely challenging market conditions.”

BMC to open new transload in Erick, OK

webmaster · September 25, 2015 ·

Badger Mining Corporation announced today the opening of another fully owned and operated transload facility in Erick, Oklahoma. This new location compliments the large and growing distribution footprint of Badger Mining Corporation. The Erick transload facility will open in December 2015 and will primarily serve the Anadarko Basin. The Anadarko Basin has a rich history and diverse set of assets. Formations currently being targeted include: the Granite Wash, Tonkawa, Cottage Grove, Hogshooter, Cleveland and Marmaton. While not as prolific as plays like the Eagle Ford or certain targets in the Permian Basin, the stacked nature of the Anadarko Basin, and the quality of the reserves it contains, speak to its potential moving forward. Through our process of identifying long-term areas to commit to, this area has been identified as an under-served market where we hope to add significant value by providing excellent service and availability.

“Our investment in Erick, OK will help our customers cut cost, but it will do so much more in terms of service quality and safety,” said Adam Katz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The biggest risk we take as an industry occurs every time we get behind the wheel. Getting closer to the wellhead means fewer trucks spending less time on the road which is a big win for everybody.”
